KOTA SAMARAHAN, Oct 3: Congress of Unions of Employees in the Public Service (Cuepacs) has urged public servants to sign up for the options offered under the Public Service Remuneration System (SSPA).

In a news report by Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas), its president Dato’ Dr Adnan Mat emphasised that these options provide better salary adjustments without compromising pension schemes.

He made this appeal during a Dialogue with the Cuepacs President on Wednesday (Oct 2), where he also provided a brief overview of the salary increase for public servants, as announced by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Additionally, Adnan took the opportunity to conduct a working visit to the Resident’s Office of the Samarahan Division on the same day.

He was accompanied by seven senior Cuepacs officers from Kuala Lumpur, Sabah, and Sarawak.

He hopes that this working visit will yield positive outcomes, benefiting not only the staff of the Samarahan Division Administration but also the surrounding community through more efficient public services.

The visit concluded with the presentation of a souvenir to Adnan by Gedong District Officer Tamida Da’adi, who represented the Samarahan Division Resident, along with Joint Council of Departments (Workers) for the Samarahan Division chairman Mohammad Hadi Datuk Bolhen. — DayakDaily
