KUCHING, Jan 19: Fire and Rescue personnel rescued a woman driver after her four-wheel drive, which was loaded with various crops, lost control and overturned at Jalan Song-Kapit today.
The truck was heading towards Kapit to deliver the crops when the incident occurred around 7am.

According to the Fire and Rescue Department, a passenger of the truck managed to get out from the vehicle, while the driver was stuck inside.
The victims have been identified as Meliyu Empawi, 58, and her son Micheal Dimus William, 26.
The woman, who was pinned under the steering wheel, was later extricated to safety by firefighters.
Both victims were sent to Kapit Hospital for further treatment. — DayakDaily
