SERIAN, May 2: A 29-year-old crane driver sustained an arm injury after the crane truck he was operating toppled to the side at a construction site along Jalan Sebangkoi Lama near Balai Ringin this morning.
The Serian Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received the emergency call at 10.51am and promptly dispatched a team to the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters found that members of the public had already assisted the victim out of the vehicle. No rescue operation was required.
However, the Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) team administered first aid at the scene before transporting the injured man to Serian Hospital for further medical treatment.
The operation concluded at 12.10pm after firefighters ensured the area was safe. — DayakDaily
