KUCHING, Feb 16: Sarawak has recorded one new suspected case of novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) today.
According to a statement from the State Disaster Management Committee, the case involves a patient under investigation (PUI) at the Sarawak General Hospital.
It revealed that the cumulative PUI cases in Sarawak from January 10 until today stands at 92 cases, out of which 84 had tested negative while eight cases are still awaiting test results.
Of the 92 cases, 69 involve Malaysians, 20 Chinese nationals, one Thai, one Indonesian and a Canadian.
The statement also disclosed that the Health Department has screened 7,025 arrivals at various air, land and sea entry points statewide yesterday. — DayakDaily
