KUCHING, July 24: Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah in a statement published at the ministry’s website said Sarawak recorded eight cases, the highest nationwide today, from the Sentosa cluster.
Johor and Pahang recorded one case each from Kluang Senior Citizen cluster and Elsa cluster.
Another other three local transmission cases were foreigners from Johor (1) and Pahang (2).
Meanwhile, the remaining five were import cases involving three Malaysians and two foreigners married to Malaysian or on working visit.
The five import cases came from Singapore, Australia, Philippine, Pakistan and Qatar.—DayakDaily
