KUCHING, Mar 24: Sarawak reported five new confirmed Covid-19 cases today (March 24).
The State Disaster Management Committee informed that two each were recorded at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) and Sibu Hospital and one in Miri Hospital.
With the new cases, Sarawak has now 87 positive cases since the first Covid-19 case was reported on March 13.
Meanwhile, Sarawak registered 52 person under investigation (PUI) cases today (March 24).
Accumulatively, Sarawak has now 879 PUI cases, of which 735 have tested negative while 57 are still awaiting laboratory test results.
The death toll in the state now stands at five. —DayakDaily
