Covid-19: Sarawak records 367 new cases, two deaths in Epid Week 28

KUCHING, July 18: Sarawak recorded 367 new Covid-19 cases in Epid (epidemiological) Week 28.

According to Sarawak Disaster Management Committee’s (SDMC) weekly report released today, 359 cases are in Category 1 and 2, while eight are in Category 3, 4, and 5.

This brings the total number of Covid-19 cases in Sarawak to 308,699.

Kuching remains the district with the most number of cases reported, with 130, followed by Sibu (72), Miri (67), and Bintulu (29).

Other districts that reported new cases are Kapit (8), Samarahan (7), Sarikei (6), Mukah (6), Bau (6), Meradong (5), Lawas (4), Serian (3), Simunjan (3), Sri Aman (3), Matu (3), Lubok Antu (2), Kanowit (2), Betong (2), Belaga (2), and one case each for Dalat, Selangau, Marudi, Saratok, Subis, Julau, and Kabong.
