Covid-19: Sarawak logs 354 new cases in Epid Week 25 with no fatality reported

KUCHING, June 27: Sarawak records 354 new Covid-19 cases during Epid (Epidemiological) Week 25.

In a statement today, the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) said of the new cases reported, 349 were under Categories 1 and 2, while 5 cases were under Categories 3, 4, and 5.

This has brought the total cumulative number of cases reported in the State to 307,671.

By district, Kuching remained at the top with the most number of new cases at 97, followed by Miri (62), Sibu (55), Bintulu (37), Serian (15), Samarahan (13), Sarikei (7), Sri Aman (7), Bau (6), Betong (5), Saratok (4), Mukah (4), Dalat (4), Simunjan (4), Selangau (3), Lawas (3), Lundu (3), Limbang (2), Subis (2), Sebauh (2), Lubok Antu (2), Tatau (2), Marudi (2), Daro (2), while Meradong, Tebedu, Kapit, Julau, Belaga, Kanowit, Asajaya, Kabong, Beluru, Song and Bukit Mambong recorded one case each.

No new Covid-19 deaths were reported this week. — DayakDaily
