Covid-19: Sarawak logs 335 new cases in Epid Week 26, no deaths reported

KUCHING, July 4: Sarawak has recorded 335 new Covid-19 cases during Epid (Epidemiological) Week 26.

According to a statement issued today by the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), 325 cases were classified as Category 1 and 2, while 10 cases were classified as Categories 3, 4, and 5.

This has brought the total cumulative number of cases reported in the State to 308,006.

By district, Kuching remained at the top with the most number of new cases at 114, followed by Miri (62), Sibu (61), Bintulu (23), Samarahan (15), Limbang (7), Serian (6), Sarikei, Bau, Mukah, Dalat, Lawas, and Kanowit (4 each), Sri Aman, Betong, Lubok Antu, and Tebedu (3 each), Saratok and Subis (2 each), and Simunjan, Lundu, Tatau, Daro, Song, Pusa, and Tanjung Manis (1 each).

In addition, there were no new Covid-19 deaths reported this week. — DayakDaily
