MIRI, Jan 10: Rumah Ramba@Rumah Emah Sungai Liam Baru, Bakong in the Beluru district here is under lockdown for 14 days starting today (Jan 10).
According to a circular from the Miri Resident’s Office, the decision to enforce the lockdown came after the Miri Health Department traced four close contacts from the Pasai Cluster to the longhouse.
The Pasai Cluster in Sibu which centred on the Langi longhouse in Pasai Siong was confirmed by the State Health Department yesterday (Jan 9).
As of today, a total of 43 positive cases have been identified from the cluster with 266 individuals having undergone screening for Covid-19.
There are also 148 individuals awaiting Covid-19 swab test results while 35 individuals have tested negative. — DayakDaily
