KUCHING, Feb 13: Daro district has returned to green from yellow status following zero local Covid-19 cases in the past 14 days.
Sarawak State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), in a statement, today said Matu district has changed from orange to yellow status after recording only 18 cases of local infection in the last 14 days.
“Sri Aman and Bau districts remain in orange status with 60 cases reported. Selangau, Kuching, Samarahan, Betong, Saratok, Sarikei, Sebauh, Lawas, Bukit Mabong, Tatau, Pakan, Serian, Belaga and Meradong remain in yellow status with a total of 119 cases of local infection reported in the last 14 days,” the statement said.
Districts that are still in red status are Julau, Subis, Lundu, Beluru, Kapit, Song, Dalat, Bintulu, Kanowit, Miri and Sibu with a total of 1,864 local infection cases reported in the last 14 days.
Meanwhile, the police arrested three female Chinese nationals at a reflexology centre in Mukah after the trio failed to produce legal travel document.
They also violated the standard operating procedure (SOP) for operating business during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).
Ten compounds were also issued against individuals in Padawan (4), Miri (3) and Mukah (3) for violating SOP.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Local Government and Housing has issued 107 notices in written and oral warning, as well as seizure notices. — DayakDaily
