KUCHING, Sept 15: A 100-year-old man from Lubok Antu and a 35-year-old woman from Bintulu, both without medical history of diseases were among seven reported brought-in-dead (BID) cases as the State reported 12 Covid-19 casualties today.
According to a report from the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) providing updates of the Covid-19 situation in Sarawak, the centenarian is the State’s oldest Covid-19 fatality so far.
The other BID cases comprised two women and three men aged between 57 and 85.
Two fatalities were from Lubok Antu, two from Kuching and one from Sri Aman.
Other Covid-19 fatalities comprised two men and three women aged between 47 and 93 from Sibu, Song, Bintulu, Betong and Sri Aman who had comorbidities.
With this, the death toll due to Covid-19 in Sarawak has increased to 651. — DayakDaily
