Covid-19: Bintulu records one death as Sarawak logs 267 new cases in Epid Week 23

KUCHING, June 13: Bintulu records one Covid-19 death as Sarawak recorded 267 new Covid-19 cases during Epid (Epidemiological) Week 23.

The Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) in a statement today said of the new cases reported, 260 were under Categories 1 and 2, while seven cases were under Categories 3, 4 and 5.

This has brought total cumulative number of cases reported in the State to 306,992.

By district, Kuching remained at the top with the most number of new cases at 96, followed by Miri (32), Sibu (26), Bintulu (26), Samarahan (13), Serian (11), Limbang (9), Bau (8), Sri Aman (5), Mukah (5), Kapit (5), Betong (4), Mukah (4), Selangau (4), Meradong (4), Saratok (3), Lubok Antu (3), Lawas (2), Tatau (2), Sarikei (2), Tebedu, while Dalat, Kabong, Beluru, Telang Usan, Song and Julau recorded one case each. – DayakDaily
