Covid-19: ACD underway at Kg Muara Tuang today

KUCHING, Feb 15: The Samarahan Health Office is conducting an active case detection (ACD) exercise to identify Covid-19 cases at Kampung Muara Tuang, Samarahan today.

According to a notice from the Samarahan Divisional Disaster Management Committee (DDMC) yesterday, the ACD will be held from 8.30am until 3pm.


The Samarahan district police will control movement at the village until the ACD is completed.

Yesterday, the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) revealed that there were new 12 Covid-19 cases in the district. From this, 11 cases were confirmed via active contact tracing.

These additional cases pushed Samarahan into Covid-19 orange zone status with a total of 27 cases reported within the past two weeks. — DayakDaily
