KUCHING, Oct 15: A 32 year-old man from Sibu without comorbidities was among 12 Covid-19 deaths reported in Sarawak today while there were also four cases of brought-in-dead (BID).
According to a report on the update of the Covid-19 situation in Sarawak by Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC), 12 Covid-19 patients passed away between Oct 5 and Oct 13.
One death was reported on Oct 5 involving a 94 year-old woman and another death was reported on Oct 10 involving another woman aged 60, both of whom were BIDs
Subsequently on Oct 11, seven Covid-19 deaths were reported involving four women and three men aged 32 to 78, while there was also a 75 year old woman from Sibu who was BID.
On Oct 12 and 13, one Covid-19 death was reported involving a 92 year-old man from Kapit, and two Covid-19 death were recorded involving a 62 year old woman (who was also BID) and a 70 year old man from Betong, respectively.
With 12 new Covid-19 deaths reported, the death toll due to Covid-19 in Sarawak has risen to 1,074. — DayakDaily
