KUCHING, Oct 3: A 14-year-old boy was ordered to be sent to Sekolah Tunas Bakti in Kota Samarahan for three years for raping his 16-year-old disabled sister.
Magistrate Mason Jaro Lenya ordered the boy to be sent to Sekolah Tunas Bakti after reviewing the Welfare Department’s probation report.
Based on the facts of the case, on March 10, the victim’s father discovered that the victim was pregnant and lodged a police report for further investigation.
The baby was born on April 12. A DNA comparison test was conducted soon after.
On May 13, the DNA report confirmed that the baby’s father is the accused based on a probability of 99.99 per cent.
The boy was arrested on May 26. Further investigation revealed that the victim was raped between June to July 2023, at a house in Matang.
ASP Mohd Adzmei Ahmad prosecuted the case while the accused was unrepresented by counsel. — DayakDaily
