KUCHING, Sept 4: An 18-year-old youth was arrested with 0.20 grams of syabu worth RM50 at Kampung Haji Baki yesterday.
Padawan police district chief Aidil Bolhassan said the suspect was arrested by a police team from IPD Padawan narcotics around 3.15pm.
“During the raid, police found a packet of crystalline substance on him and he was detained on suspicion of drug activities. The items were seized as evidence and he was arrested under Section 12(2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act (ADB) 1952,” Aidil said in a statement.
Police was also granted a two-day remand against the teen by the court. — DayakDaily
