BAU, Sept 11: Two policemen on night patrol sensed something fishy when they saw a green vehicle parked in front of a gas station at Jalan Bau-Lundu around 2.15am.
After introducing themselves, the officers conducted a body check on the driver, a 23-year-old jobless man from Taman Siniawan.
Failing to find anything illegal on his body, they proceeded to check the vehicle. The search led to the discovery of three plastic packets on the back seat floor.
Inside the three plastic bags contained a total of 22 smaller packets with substance believed to be Ketamine.
Bau District police chief DSP Poge Nyaon confirmed the arrest, which was made under Section 15(1)(a) and Section 12(2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. — DayakDaily
