KUCHING, March 3: A police corporal is charged with trafficking in 3987.70 grams of Methamphetamine and 531 grams of 3.4-Methylenedioxyamphetamine (MDMA) at the Magistrate’s Court here today.
Bukhari Mohamad Rajuna, 40, was charged with two charges here today.
Registrar Morni Lita Mokhtar fixed April 6 for further mention of the case. The accused were to be further remanded pending the chemist report of the drugs found.
He allegedly trafficked 3987.70 grams of Methamphetamine and 531 grams of 3.4-Methylenedioxyamphetamine (MDMA) in front of Gala Residences Reception Counter, at about 1 pm on January 19, 2021.
He was charged under Section 39B(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and punishable under Section 39B(2) of the same Act, which carries a death sentence or imprisonment for life and whipping of not less than 15 strokes, upon conviction.
