Continuous rain warning issued to S’wak until Jan 20 due to ongoing monsoon trough

KUCHING, Jan 19: A continuous rain warning which will be in effect until tomorrow (Jan 20) has been issued to Sarawak.

According to the Malaysian Meteorological Department (METMalaysia), this is due to the ongoing monsoon trough.

Other than Sarawak, the southern zone of Peninsular Malaysia, especially Johor, is also expected to be affected.

The department advised members of the public to always refer to its website and official social media pages, as well as to download the myCuaca application, for the latest information on the weather. — DayakDaily
