Continuous rain warning for Sarawak in effect until Jan 23

KUCHING, Jan 21: Sarawak has been issued a warning for continuous rain, which will remain in effect until Thursday (Jan 23).

According to the Malaysian Meteorological Department (METMalaysia), the areas most likely to be affected are Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Kapit (Song and Kapit), Bintulu, and Miri (Subis, Beluru, Miri, and Marudi).

The public is advised to keep track of the weather conditions and to be cautious, especially for those travelling back to their hometowns for the Chinese New Year celebration. — DayakDaily
