BEKENU, Aug 7: Construction work on the proposed Sepupok health clinic equipped with residential quarters will start next year, says Deputy Health Minister Lukanisman Awang Sauni.
According to a report by TVS, Lukanisman who is also Sibuti MP, said the clinic has been approved under the Third Rolling Plan of the 12th Malaysia Plan (12MP) with the land being procured by Ministry of Health (MoH).
“Beginning 2024, we will roll out the construction of KK3-type clinics where the services are similar to KK2-type clinics except that it is smaller in size,” he said at the Sibuti Community Healthcare Carnival held at Bekenu Community Hall yesterday (Aug 6).
Additionally, he said, health clinics in Sungai Asap and Long San are currently at the design stage with Sarawak Social Welfare Department (JKNS). — DayakDaily
