KUCHING, Dec 7: A stall centre (Pusat Gerai) will be built at Bengoh Resettlement Scheme (BRS) next year.
Deputy Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities Datuk Willie Mongin said the project has been approved by the Implementation Unit (ICU) in the Prime Minister’s Department.
“The project, which is at a ceiling cost of RM200, 000 has been approved (by ICU) and will start in January next year,” Willie said today.
He had earlier attended a meeting with State Development Office (SDO) personnel at his service centre at Sinaruh Hill, along Jalan Borneo Heights concerning the tender process for the project.
BRS comprises four villages, namely Kpg Rejoi, Kpg Taba Sait, Kpg Pain Bojong and Kpg Semban.
The villages were affected by the Bengoh dam project and relocated to BRS. — DayakDaily
