KUCHING, Aug 26: For those who love anything Korean, the Annyeong Ku-chingu campaign awaits you at The Spring Shopping Mall in Kuching.
From August 25 to October 1, visitors can try a variety of Korean street food, and one of the stalls serving it is Common Ground.
Its operator, Marcus Chin, shared that they have been serving Korean food for the last two years and are glad to join the event.
“We serve delectable bite-size Korean street food as it is more convenient and easier for visitors to savour the food,” he told DayakDaily during the launching of the campaign by Deputy Premier Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian today.
Chin said the family has always been in the food and beverage business and tried to make their Korean dishes as authentic as possible.
“Among our speciality dishes include the Korean original spicy fish cake and tteokbokki (chewy rice cake) boneless fish cake, spicy ramyeon spring roll, gimmari (seaweed roll), and twigim gimbap.
“We will be here at the Chingu Bazaar at the south court (of the mall) until September 3 from 10am to 10pm. If you want extra Korean dishes and enjoy them with a friend, come to our main cafe at BDC Saradise,” said Chin.
The bazaar will have various Korean food, beverages, snacks, instant noodles, fashion accessories, tour packages, and activities, including competitions with attractive prizes to be won.
