Apart from launching the Apau Koyan BEM Church, the Chief Minister is also expected to visit the Sungai Asap Sub-District Office project site.

Liwan has urged all working committees members to do their best to ensure the Chief Minister’s visit goes smoothly.

A second meeting has been scheduled for Nov 16 at Apau Koyan BEM Church.

Meanwhile, the Sarawak government has provided RM10 million for the building of Apau Koyan BEM Church.

The project kicked off in 2019 and was initially scheduled for completion in November last year but completion was delayed due to the Movement Control Order (MCO).

Once completed, the church will be able to accommodate over 2,000 worshippers at any one time. — DayakDaily
