“Apart from that, we also have given out cash assistance to the Below 40 (B40) group as well as those who are affected by the pandemic,” he said at a media conference during his visit to Limbang, today.

Among those present were Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan and Local Government and Housing Minister Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian

Meanwhile, in conjunction with the month of August, Abang Johari also wished everyone a happy National Day 2021 celebration.

He said the “Malaysia Prihatin” theme for the National Day celebration this year has ingrained into the country’s culture to help those in need and affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We pray that our country will be stable, peaceful and prosperous in the times to come,” he added. — DayakDaily
