KUCHING, June 15:Â Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg today receives a courtesy call from new Sarawak Information Department Director Suwady Guliling.
Abang Johari extended hospitality and welcome towards the new director at the former’s office at Wisma Bapa Malaysia, Petra Jaya this morning.
The new Information Director who hails from Sabah, reported for duty to serve in Sarawak on January 28, 2020, taking over from Abang Sardon Abang Hashim who has been relocated to Strategic Communications Division under the Communications and Multimedia Ministry, Putrajaya.
The 56-year-old Suwady has served as Information Director in Labuan, Melaka, Terengganu, Sabah and his last appointment was as Director of Cyber Media Division at the headquarters of Information Department, Putrajaya.
Also present was Deputy Director of Information, Aziz Abdul Rahman.–DayakDaily.
