KUCHING, July 8: The newly appointed Prime Minister’s Special Envoy to East Asia, Datuk Seri Richard Riot Jaem made a courtesy call to Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg today.
The visit from Riot, was the first such courtesy call, after he was appointed to the post as special envoy to Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan recently.
Following that, Abang Johari also received another courtesy call form the new General Operations Force (PGA) Sarawak Brigade commander SAC Mancha Ata.
Mancha was accompanied by other PGA officers namely, PGA Sarawak Brigade deputy commander ACP Hakemal Hawari; PGA Sarawak Brigade Intelligence Officer ASP Norman Chendan Philip Picha; PGA Sarawak Brigade Operation/Intelligence Staff Officers DSP Sahamran Ibrahim and DSP Yusuf Baki Khan.
Both visits were held at the Chief Minister’s office at Wisma Bapa Malaysia in Petra Jaya here. –DayakDaily.
