CM inspects four operating PPVs in Miri

MIRI, July 17: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg paid a working visit to four vaccination centres (PPV) in Miri today.

Upon arrival at the Miri Airport, he and his entourage visited Hospital Miri PPV at Dato Lee Teck Fook Hall, Riam Road Secondary School Miri at 11am.

According to a report by the Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas) today, the Chief Minister was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, Local Government and Housing Minister who is also the Advisor to the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian, Transport Ministervwho is also the Minister Responsible for the Miri Divisional Disaster Management Committee (DDMC) Datuk Lee Kim Shin and Sarawak State Secretary Datuk Amar Jaul Samion.


The delegation spent about 30 minutes inspecting the operations at the PPV.

For the record, a total of 720 individuals received their second doses of the Sinovac vaccine at the PPV.

After that, the Chief Minister was accompanied by the delegation to inspect the Eastwood Valley Hall PPV, Eastwood Valley Golf & Country Club, Miri at 11.30am.

It is understood that a total of 1,092 individuals received their second dose injection, while another 972 people received the first dose injection at the said PPV.

The Chief Minister’s working visit then continued to the Lutong Oil and Gas industrial PPV at 2pm before attending a briefing by the Miri DDMC at the Curtin University Hall PPV. ā€” DayakDaily
