Chinese national gets two months’ jail for offering RM200 sex services to cop

KUCHING, Oct 22: A Chinese national has been sentenced to two months’ jail by the Magistrtate’s Court here for offering sexual services to a policeman at a reflexology centre.

Magistrate Mohd Syukri Mokhtar handed down the sentence on Wei Xiao Ying, 39, after the woman pleaded guilty to the charge today.


Wei was accused of soliciting RM200 from her customer for the purpose of prostitution at a foot reflexology centre at Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi Adruce, at about 9.30 pm on Oct 11, 2019.

According to the charge sheet, the accused was caught during a police raid. During inspection at the premise, the accused was found together with a customer who was also a policeman and agent provocateur at the same time.

The money was seized by the police together with a piece of a condom.

She was charged under Section 372B of the Penal Code, which carries a jail term not exceeding one year or a fine or both, upon conviction.

The court ordered the jail term to take effect from the date of arrest.
