Chinese company offers help to strengthen new energy sector in Sarawak

KUCHING, May 30: China Energy Engineering Corporation Limited (CEEC) is ready to work together with Sarawak to strengthen the new energy sector in the State.

According to a report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (Ukas), CEEC Southeast Asia Region president Zhang De Liang said China has green energy technology that can be utilised by Sarawak which is focusing on environmental sustainability.

“With our energy technology from China, we can support the Sarawak government in achieving their green technology development plan. I believe the big ambitions of Sarawak’s leaders can be achieved in the future.


“Therefore, we can collaborate in research and technology and help in aspects of sustainable construction and maintenance,” he said when met after paying a courtesy call on Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at the latter’s office in Wisma Bapa Malaysia here today. — DayakDaily
