Children below 12, elderly above 65 discouraged to visit Semenggoh Wildlife Centre

KUCHING, March 16: Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) discourages children below 12 and senior citizens above 65 years old to visit Semenggoh Wildlife Centre.

SFC is also limiting the number of Semenggoh Wildlife Centre’s visitors to 40 at any one time from today until further notice.

The rule is implemented as a preventive measure against Covid-19 following the latest announcement of the Sarawak government which called on all government and public gathering involving more than 50 participants to be postponed to a later date.

ā€œThe entrance to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre (SWC) will be limited to a maximum of 40 pax per sighting starting today until further notice.

ā€œChildren below the age of 12 years old and senior citizens above 65 years old are discouraged to visit Semenggoh Wildlife Centre.

ā€œAny inconvenience caused is very much regretted,ā€ said SFC in a social media posting.
