Chain reaction accident damages 10 vehicles in Kuching

KUCHING, Jan 8: Ten vehicles were damaged in an accident at Jalan Wan Alwi.

The incident occurred at about 10.30pm in front of Viva City Mall.

According to Sarawak traffic police chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu, a 47-year old teacher who was driving a Toyota Hilux lost control of his vehicle as he exited the mall heading towards Tabuan Park.

The driver then crashed into another vehicle and caused a chain reaction which affected eight other vehicles which were queuing at the traffic light in front of the mall.

No injuries were reported.

The teacher was later compounded under R10 LN166 / 59 by the police. — DayakDaily
