Centuries-long wait for 88 Ulu Salim NCR land owners ends on happy note

KUCHING, Nov 12: A total of 88 landowners under Dudong constituency in Sengan, Ulu Salim, received their Native Customary Rights (NCR) land title.

According to Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Dudong branch chairman Wong Ching Yong, the landowners also collectively expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg for realising their dreams.

Wong Ching Yong together with some of the land owners from Dudong constituency taking a group photo after taking their NCR land titles at the Sibu Land and Survey department, today.

“For centuries, their ancestors had been looking towards this day,” he said in a press statement today.


About 23 landowners went to the Sibu Land and Survey office to collect their NCR land titles. – DayakDaily.
