KUCHING, May 18: The Cat Museum will be temporarily closed following the extension of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in Sarawak.

Kuching North City Council (DBKU) in a statement said they will close the museum until June 7.

The announcement was made following the latest CMCO standard operating procedures (SOP) guidelines released by State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) yesterday.

Apart from museums, the strict SOP also applies to art, culture and heritage destinations such as libraries, art galleries, cultural heritage centers or villages and cultural performance stages. — DayakDaily
