KUCHING: A car believed to have ploughed into a woman after which it lost control and killed an elderly motorcyclist.
The 88-year-old senior citizen was found dead after being knocked down by the car at Jalan Darmaga, Bintangor this morning at 10.15am.
According to the police, the initial investigation of the case showed that the car knocked down a female pedestrian first and lost control. It then ploughed into the elder motorcyclist who happened to be passing by that stretch of the road.
The impact from the collision had thrown the deceased unto the road where he sustained severe head injuries.
The woman pedestrian, on the other hand, sustained broken leg.
The ambulance reached the scene not long after and announced the passing of the elderly victim.
The Police is investigating into the case.— DayakDaily
