KUCHING, March 7: A 46-year-old man escaped unharmed after his vehicle plunged into a stream at Jalan Belatok, Taman Malihah, here today.
Sarawak Traffic Investigation and Enforcement chief, Supt Alexson Naga Chabu, said the incident occurred at 8.30am only involved a compact vehicle that was driven by the victim.
“The victim was heading towards Taman Malihah from Batu Kawa when he lost control of his vehicle after the steering was suddenly locked and could not be steered,” he said in a statement.
Alexson added that the driver did not suffer any injuries from the incident.
The case is being investigated in accordance with Rules 10 LN166/59, he said. — DayakDaily
