KUCHING, Dec 31: A car was almost 100 per cent destroyed after it was razed by fire due at Jalan Kuala Baram-Miri Bypass late Monday night.
The incident was believed to have happened around 11pm, when Fire and Rescue department (Bomba) received the emergency call.
According to Bomba, the fire was still blazing when they reached the scene. The owner of the car, a Bruneian citizen, managed to escape from his car safely.
Bomba successfully put the fire out and made sure the surroundings were safe before leaving the scene. The cause of the fire was unknown. —DayakDaily
