KUCHING, April 22: Kampung Riih Daso Youth Association in collaboration with Bukit Semuja Service Centre will hold the second edition of Otong Ni-Ee Fishing Competition on May 4.
According to the details released in the competition poster, the event’s goal will take place at Otong Ni-Ee, a communal fish pond located in Kampung Riih Daso, Serian. It will commence from 8.30am until 11am.
The competition is open to all aged 10 and above.
The registration fee is RM50 per fishing rod with each participant is limited to only two fishing rods.
The winner will bring home RM1,000 cash prize while the second and third places will secure RM750 and RM500 respectively. All podium finishes will be given a trophy each.
There are also two consolation prizes of RM150 each.
The competition will also feature lucky draws with hampers and fishing equipment up for grabs.
Those interested to participate must fill in the application form which could be obtained at https://form.jotform.com/241014284332445 and submit it to Bukit Semuja Service Centre before 11.30am, on May 3, 2024.
