Bus `grounded’ in Miri as batteries stolen

The batteries of this bus was reported stolen this morning.

MIRI, Aug 16: Four batteries worth RM1,680 belonging to an express bus were reported missing early this morning.

The discovery was made in front of the bus company’s workers’ quarters in Jalan Padang Kerbau here.

The bus’ driver noticed the batteries missing at about 7.30am when he was walking towards the bus. He then lodged a report with the Miri Central Police Station (CPS).

Police are still investigating, and no arrest has been made as at press time.— DayakDaily
