MIRI, Oct 26: Burglars ransacked Miri Democratic Action Party (DAP)’s Pujut service centre in Krokop this morning and carted away some items, including cash amounting to RM20.
The discovery was made around 10am by Miri DAP Youth chief Peter Hii.
“This morning, when I arrived at the office, papers and other belongings were scattered all over the floor,” disclosed Hii when contacted over the incident.
A police report was later lodged at the Miri Central Police Station.
Meanwhile, Miri police chief ACP Lim Meng Seah when contacted confirmed receiving the report.
Among items reported missing were a laptop bag, cash worth RM20 and a sound speaker. — DayakDaily
