Brunei man killed, two injured in collision along Jln Tedungan Limbang

LIMBANG, Jan 21: A Brunei national died on the spot, while two others were badly injured following a collision between a sports utility vehicle (SUV) and a sedan at KM34 Jalan Tedungan Limbang this morning.

State Traffic Investigation and Enforcement chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu, revealed the sedan driven by the deceased, identified as a 34-year-old man from Kampung Mulaut Brunei had swerved into the opposite lane before it was hit by the SUV.

Prior to the crash, the sedan was heading towards Limbang from Tedungan, while the SUV was coming from Limbang.

“The sedan driver died on the spot, while the other two, a male and a female aged 72 and 74 respectively in the SUV survived but are badly injured,” he added.

Both injured victims were rushed to Limbang Hospital for treatment.

Police are investigating the incident under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. — DayakDaily
