BrewCrewCoffeeClub backs Media Kuching FC to promote healthy lifestyle among journalists

KUCHING, July 5: BrewCrewCoffeeClub has partnered with Media Kuching FC in support of the media fraternity, recognising the role of journalists while encouraging a healthier lifestyle through sports.

Its co-owner, Nurina Nabihah Bujang, said the collaboration is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative aimed at supporting the media community.

She said journalists play an important role in delivering accurate and credible information to the public and should be supported in efforts to enhance their well-being and promote healthy living.

“Journalists play an important role in delivering accurate and credible information to society.

“We hope this small contribution will support their efforts while encouraging a healthy lifestyle through sports,” she said in a statement.

Meanwhile, Media Kuching FC manager Mohamad Gustie Noorambia described the support as meaningful, saying it would strengthen the team’s efforts to foster sportsmanship, build camaraderie and promote healthy living among media practitioners.

He said BrewCrewCoffeeClub’s support reflects growing recognition from the corporate sector of the media’s contribution to society.

“We sincerely appreciate BrewCrewCoffeeClub for this support. It is meaningful in helping us strengthen the spirit of sportsmanship, foster closer ties and encourage a healthy lifestyle among media practitioners in Sarawak.

“We hope this collaboration will continue in the future through programmes that benefit both parties and the wider community,” he said.

BrewCrewCoffeeClub, located at Wisma Hopoh here, has been actively involved in community programmes and initiatives as part of its CSR efforts.

Media Kuching FC comprises journalists from various media organisations in Sarawak, including those from the electronic, print, digital and broadcast media sectors, particularly those based in Kuching. — DayakDaily
