KUCHING, July 14: EGM (Asia) Sdn Bhd has donated 1,000 liters of Virol-Oxy solution to Fire and Rescue department (Bomba) Sarawak for the latter’s sanitation operations against Covid-19.
The hand over ceremony by EGM Asia Sdn Bhd managing director Eric Goh to Bomba Sarawak director Khirudin Drahman witnessed by Minister for Local Government and Housing Sarawak Datuk Seri Dr Sim Kui Hian was held at the headquarters yesterday.
According to Goh, the German product Virol-Oxy is virucidal against Covid-19 by Watch Water GmbH.
“We have obtained international lab reports, which the product were tested against coronavirus from European Standards (Germany EN14476) and (USA ASTM E1053) and few others.
“The composition of Virol-Oxy is non toxic and fully biodegradable, so it is very safe to use. In addition, it’s non-alcohol and non-chlorine with high oxidation 5.5v and non irritant to eyes and skin,” Goh said today, adding that this product is meant for daily routine use by spraying, swabbing, rubbing and immersing surfaces to disinfect.
EGM (Asia) Sdn Bhd is the authorized distributor for Virol-Oxy in Malaysia and Brunei.
Thanking Goh for the contribution and the close collaboration not only to work with but also to support Bomba Sarawak, Khirudin said the department will use the Virol-Oxy solution for sanitation operations, especially at kindergarten and schools.— DayakDaily
