KUCHING, March 24: The Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) came to the aid of a man in his 30s who was trapped in his vehicle following an accident at Jalan Pelabuhan here.
According to the report, an emergency call was received at 1.30am today, and firefighters from the Tabuan Jaya station were deployed to the location.

The operations commander noted that the single-vehicle accident involved a Perodua Axia with the victim, who was the driver, trapped in it.
Firefighters proceeded to extricate the victim using a scoop stretcher before handing him over to health ministry officers to receive treatment at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH).
The operation ended at 2.10am. — DayakDaily
