KUCHING, Jan 4: The SMK Simanggang hall stage was on fire late Friday night – literally.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received an emergency call about the fire around 10.36pm and a team was immediately dispatched to the scene.
According to Bomba, they got the situation under control around 11.25pm. About 20 per cent of the stage in the hall was damaged in the fire.
An overhaul operation was carried out by Bomba after putting out the fire. —DayakDaily
