KUCHING, Oct 5: A fire broke out this morning at a furniture factory at Jalan Penrissen, Mile 7, in Kota Sentosa.
The fire was put under control by Fire and Rescue (Bomba) personnel from the Batu Lintang and Tabuan Jaya fire stations.
Firefighters managed to prevent the fire from spreading to the car factory next door.
Sarawak Bomba Call Centre received the call from the factory’s office at 5.40am. The fire was put out at 6.42am.
Bomba personnel continued to carry an overall check to ensure the fire is totally put out. — DayakDaily
