KUCHING, Feb 8: Fire prevention tips were taught to the tenants of 11-door Rh Lubok Guchi, even though the longhouse was located just beside the fire station in Saratok.
The fire prevention lessons were requested by the tenants themselves so that they would be prepared in case any misfortune should happen to the longhouse which had 117 residents.
Most of the people who participated in the prevention class were women who, besides learning the basic skills of putting out fires, asked for special attention on kitchen fire prevention. —DayakDaily
