Bomba come across one road accident while returning from another along Jalan Bintulu-Miri

MIRI, Jan 23: Four women and two children suffered minor injuries after their vehicle lost control and crashed on the road side in KM30 Jalan Bintulu-Miri today.

State Fire and Rescue department (Bomba) operation center said that the Bomba Emergency Medical Rescue Service (EMRS) met with the incident while on their way back to the fire station from another case.

“One of the victims was unconscious, while the others managed to pull themselves out safely from the vehicle.


“They were also given initial medical treatment by the EMRS while waiting for the hospital ambulance to arrive,” the statement said.

In an earlier accident, two men were seriously injured while one escaped with minor injuries after their vehicle ended up in a roadside ditch along Jalan Bintulu-Miri.

Firefighters arriving at the scene after receiving a distress call at 4.02am, reported that the one of the victims was brought to hospital by the medical service ambulance due to the seriousness of his injuries, while another one who had a broken leg was taken by EMRS.

All three victims were pulled out from the vehicle by passers-by and given early medical treatment by the EMRS. —DayakDaily.
