BAU, Oct 8: A team from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) station here came to the aid of an elderly woman who was injured in a fall earlier today.
Bomba Bau received a call at 4.20pm today and immediately despatched a 4-man Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) team to the scene at Jalan Bau-Krokong.
When they arrived, they discovered the 89-year-old woman had fallen in her home and hurt her hip. The EMRS team managed to lift the injured woman onto a stretcher and into their vehicle before transporting her immediately to Bau Hospital for further treatment.
